By registering for an account or using the Portal, you agree to abide by these Terms of Use and any additional policies, procedures, and guidelines that may be posted on the Portal.

3. Eligibility

To use the Portal, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Have an active loan account with Coastal Finance Company, Inc.
  • Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information during and after registration.
4. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Keep your login credentials confidential and secure.
  • Immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account.
  • Ensure that the information you provide is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Use the Portal solely for lawful purposes related to your loan account.

You must not:

  • Share your account credentials with any third party.
  • Use the Portal in any manner that violates applicable laws, regulations, or these Terms.

8. Electronic Transaction Fees

In some cases, if you choose to make your loan payment online using a debit card, an electronic transaction fee (also known as a convenience fee) may apply. This fee is paid to a third-party vendor for the merchant services they provide. The fee amount varies based on the payment method and is prominently displayed at the time of payment.

9. Payment Processing

Payments made through the Portal are subject to additional terms and conditions. You acknowledge that:

  • All payments are final upon submission unless otherwise specified.
  • Coastal Finance Company, Inc is not responsible for payment errors caused by incorrect information entered by you.
10. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms or engage in any unauthorized activity on the Portal.

11. Updates to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting. Your continued use of the Portal constitutes your acceptance of any updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

This agreement is governed by the laws of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
